The SafetySure® Transfer Gurney (SSTG) is a padded gurney with a plastic insert that can be used to transfer your heavier patients. The plastic insert provides rigidity which aids in sliding the gurney under the individual while having the gurney in a flat position. The comfortable handles form a figure eight, allowing the individuals weight to be evenly distributed.
The SafetySure® Transfer Gurney with plastic insert is used primarily to:
- Move a patient up in bed
- Turn in bed
- Transfer between bed and shower trolley, etc.
- Lift patient from floor to bed
